Our trained teaching staff offers recreational tumbling instruction based on the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, which focuses on safe and effective progressions, appropriate body positioning and foundational skills for beginning to advanced levels.

For over 30 years, Tip Toes and Taps has offered recreational tumbling for boys and girls ages 2 and up. Our program is safe, fun, and progressive starting with basic skills and building to more advanced skills as your student improves. Our focus is on building young people into strong students overall, as the skills built in our program can translate into life skills. Through the discipline of tumbling, students are challenged to improve their physical strength, flexibility, agility, balance, coordination, and self-esteem.
Our Facility
Our facility offers a large mat covered area on a shock absorbing floor that provides a small amount of extra height when compressed and softer landings for extra safety.
Class Levels
Our trained teaching staff provides tumbling instruction that focuses on basic body positions and foundational skills at the beginning levels, transitioning later to the “flipping and twisting” skills at the advanced levels.
Each program builds on our long tradition of quality tumbling instruction to provide an exciting and rewarding non-competitive experience for your student.

Class Descriptions
Tumble Tots is a high-energy class that focuses on building beginner acro-tumble skills such as assisted forward rolls, pre-handstands, crab walks, bunny hops, bear crawls, and log rolls. Students will also practice stretching, strength, conditioning, and basic jumps, laying a solid foundation for progression to the Shooting Stars Acro-Tumble class.
Shooting Stars Acro-Tumble is a high-energy class that introduces basic tumbling skills such as forward rolls, assisted backward rolls, pre-bridges, handstands, and pre-cartwheels. Students will also work on stretching, strength, conditioning, and beginner-level jumps to build coordination and confidence. This class lays the groundwork for a successful transition into Rising Stars Acro-Tumble Level 1.
Rising Stars Acro-Tumble Level 1 is a high-energy class that focuses on beginner-level acro-tumbling techniques such as forward rolls, backward rolls, straddle rolls, bridges, handstands, headstands, cartwheels, and round-offs. In addition to tumbling, students will build flexibility, strength, conditioning, and jumping skills. This class serves as a solid foundation for progression into Rising Stars Acro-Tumble Level 2.
Rising Stars Acro-Tumble Level 2 is a high-energy class that focuses on advancing core acro-tumbling skills such as forward rolls, backward rolls, straddle rolls, bridges, handstands, headstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and walkovers, incorporating intermediate-level variations and control. Students will also develop flexibility, strength, conditioning, and jumping skills. This class is the ideal bridge to prepare students for Shining Stars Acro-Tumble.
Shining Stars Acro-Tumble students must be able to execute all Rising Stars Acro-Tumble Level 1 & 2 skills with proper body posture and technique on both their right and left hand side, where applicable. This dynamic, high-energy class emphasizes advanced tumbling skills such as dive rolls, chest rolls, fish flop rolls, aerials, handsprings, arabians, bow and arrow, scorpion, needle, illusions, chest stands, headsprings, rolling tinsica, valdez, tucks, layouts, fulls, and punch outs. Additionally, students will develop flexibility, strength, conditioning, and various jumps to enhance their overall tumbling ability.
